Indian biotech firm Leucine Rich Bio, South Asia’s first microbiome company, is all set to foray into US healthcare with the establishment of Crown Biome Inc, a visionary US-based entity dedicated to revolutionising oral healthcare through cutting-edge products and solutions. Crown Biome Inc will be helmed by its CEO Bryan Toton.

The oral microbiome refers to the collective genome of the microbes that are present in a person’s mouth. An increasing number of studies demonstrate a close link between chronic diseases and an imbalance in the microbiome.

It is high time that while devising the treatment strategy, the medical fraternity takes note of the patient’s microbiome data as the microbiome is significantly affected by the diet and drugs and provides an insight into the resistance and sensitivity of certain drugs over others. 

As a pivotal first step, Crown Biome is embarking on one of the largest-ever studies on the oral microbiome, paving the way for unprecedented insights and breakthrough innovations.
