Aims to implement a digital transformation solution to revolutionize patient care through advanced medical imaging data management

Siemens Healthineers has inked a strategic partnership with Indonesia's Mayapada Healthcare to revolutionise patient care through advanced medical imaging data management and digital transformation solutions. The partnership was formalized by Dr. Dini Handayani, MARS, FISQUA, FIPC, Chief Medical Officer of Mayapada Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers Managing Director for Indonesia, Alfred Fahringer.
The signing ceremony was held during a two day HMA 2024 conference that convened healthcare leaders from across the region, including government officials, hospital owners, C-level executives, directors, and clinicians, to discuss digital healthcare transformation and solutions for improving outcomes and enhancing efficiency. Siemens Healthineers Managing Board Member Elisabeth Staudinger delivering the expert keynote speech titled Pioneering Breakthroughs: Addressing Challenges, Creating Futures.
Global medical-technology leader Siemens Healthineers led a dynamic panel discussion about Indonesia’s healthcare landscape as it undergoes nation-wide reformation with the help of digital technologies. The panel featured key industry experts including the Medical Director of PT Pertamina Bina Medika – Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (IHC) Dr. Lia Partakusuma, ICON Cancer Centre CEO for ASEAN and Hong Kong, Serena Wee, as well as Siemens Healthineers Managing Director for Indonesia, Alfred Fahringer. Delving deep into the critical challenges facing Indonesia’s healthcare sector, the discussion explored issues in accessibility and affordability, and the pivotal role of collaboration and innovation in supporting better integration of digital innovations. Panelists underscored the need for strong public-private partnerships to drive seamless adoption of advanced medical technologies and improve healthcare accessibility with digital solutions across the country.
Furthermore, Siemens Healthineers has established a strategic partnership with Bali International Hospital (BIH), thus playing a critical role in driving the momentum of the country’s digital healthcare transformation and elevating the quality of its healthcare delivery. The partnership equips BIH with Siemens Healthineers’ cutting-edge medical technologies for diagnostic imaging and therapy to enhance clinical outcomes across a range of medical conditions, including cancer and cardiovascular disease.
