Singapore- UnitedHealthcare and Quest Diagnostics announce a long-term strategic partnership intended to focus on ways to create more personalized care recommendations for the 48M-plus people enrolled in UNH plans.
The two companies say they will collaborate on "a variety of value-based programs, bringing the same aligned incentives and enhanced patient experience to lab services as exist today in accountable care arrangements between [UNH] and more than 1,100 hospitals and 110,000 physicians."
Effective Jan. 1, 2019, Quest will become an in-network provider of laboratory services for all UNH plan participants.
