Flatiron partners with more than 265 community cancer clinics, six major academic research centres, and 14 therapeutic oncology companies.

Singapore- Roche finalizes its $1.9B acquisition of Flatiron Health, a developer of oncology-focused electronic health record software.

Flatiron curates and develops real-world evidence for cancer research. It has a network of community oncology practices and academic medical centers across the US and has designed a technology platform that enables cancer researchers and care providers to learn from the experience of every patient.

Flatiron partners with more than 265 community cancer clinics, six major academic research centres, and 14 therapeutic oncology companies.

Flatiron will continue to operate as a separate legal entity and retain its current business model, network of partners, and overall objectives. It will also preserve the integrity of segregated patient protected health information and retain dedicated sales and marketing, provider-facing, and life-science business activities.

The acquisition allows both companies to accelerate progress toward data-driven personalized healthcare in cancer. Prior to the acquisition, Roche held a nearly 13 percent stake in the New York City-based firm.
