Thailand Lab 2014 attracted around 6,500 visitors

Singapore: Thailand Lab 2014, a laboratory apparatus and technology exhibition and seminar, hosted in Bangkok from Sep 17-19, 2014 is estimated to boost Thailand's economy by over USD 170 million (5,500 million baht) and push up the growth of USD 1 billion (60 billion baht) laboratory market.

More than 200 companies and agencies participated in Thailand Lab 2014, that attracted around 6,500 visitors this year.

Besides seeking investment from industry sectors, Thailand LAB 2014 also staged a knowledge sharing platform for researchers on innovation and new ideas such as green bioprocess engineering, biological sciences, cell therapy and gene therapy.

Mr Preecha Yongcharoen, chairman of Science and Technology Trade Association Thailand said, "Thailand Lab 2014 is the good platform for the science and technology industry to showcase the advancement and its role in country development through sectors such as industry, agriculture, energy and environmental technologies."
