Taiwan-based SHL and Germany-based Schreiner MediPharm join hands to help biopharmaceutical companies understand more about the advances in label designs
Singapore: Taiwan's drug delivery technology firm, SHL, has partnered with Germany-based Schreiner MediPharm to develop customized sample labels for demo products that are shared with biopharmaceutical customers.
These labels have been specifically designed to showcase some of the technical features available to biopharma companies and their end-users, including a peel-off portion of the label for end-user tracking and an anti-slip varnish to improve grip during injection.
A QR-code is also available for use to link directly to the drug product website and the anti-counterfeiting hologram helps to identify the injection device as an original product.
The goal of this collaboration is to help biopharmaceutical companies understand more about the advances in label designs and how selecting the right device and label solutions can make a successful combination product that really benefits end-users.
SHL offers its customers integrated solutions across the entire process chain from design and development through the manufacturing process including final assembly, labeling and packaging. High quality and optimal time to market are critical. For the DAI and Molly models, Schreiner MediPharm developed customized sample labels for demonstration of the autoinjectors to pharmaceutical manufacturers.
