Dontia Alliance Pte. Ltd. (DA) launched its Advanced Implant Strategies Centre of Excellence (AIS Centre) in Singapore, in partnership with T32 Implant Centre (“T32”), part of T32 Dental Group, a leading brand in the private healthcare industry with eleven (11) clinics in Singapore. The new comprehensive centre will bring together dental professionals and partners to collaborate and provide quality and comprehensive dental care for all patients.
The AIS Centre is a newly conceptualised accreditation by Dontia Alliance, where a premier implant centre in each country is recognised for its commitment towards clinical excellence and patient-centric care.
The centre launch was inaugurated by guest-of-honour, Mr Desmond Tan Kok Ming, Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office, and Deputy Secretary-General, National Trades Union Congress (NTUC).
The Centre is a comprehensive, multifaceted hub designed to provide specialised services relating to dental implants and dentures, as well as fostering learning, collaboration and innovation among dental professionals, partners, manufacturers and other dental-related businesses under one roof. Under the commitment, Dontia Alliance and T32 are providing high-quality clinical outcomes and patient-centric care. In the field of dental implantology, it emphasizes using cutting-edge implant surgery techniques and cutting-edge manufacturing technologies to drive superior results.
In addition to high-quality implant solutions provided at the Centre, education and training programmes for dental professionals will also be organised. This ensures that practitioners are kept up to date on the newest technologies and latest advancements, thus allowing us to remain at the forefront of dental excellence, enhance efficiency and productivity, as well as improving patient care.
The T32 Implant Centre in Singapore is DA’s second AIS Centre, following the first AIS Centre being launched in Penang, Malaysia. By 2026, DA will have five (5) AIS Centres, strategically located in major cities in Asia – Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong (SAR), Vietnam and the Philippines.
DA alligns with Singapore's '8020 Movement'
Supporting the dental ecosystem in Singapore, DA and T32 are aligned to the nation’s healthcare agenda as well as the Government’s implementation of the Age Well SG programme.
The initiative aims to address edentulism (loss of all natural teeth) early and improve oral health and overall well-being of Singapore's aging population. It is estimated that approximately 13% of Singaporeans who are 60 years old and above do not have teeth1. Many are unaware of dental treatments available while others are reluctant to spend on quality dental implants due to steep costs involved. Through the Movement, Singaporeans are encouraged to maintain at least 20 functioning teeth by age 80 in order to improve their quality of life. Individuals can achieve good nutrition and live a healthy lifestyle by following this principle.
As part of the Movement, three (3) strategic T32 Dental clinics will provide complimentary denture cleaning services for all denture wearing individuals. Additionally, any dentures produced by Dontia Digital Innovations (DDi) Laboratory will come with a 1-year warranty. Through this Movement, DA strives to address issues related to edentulism and provide solutions to tackle this growing challenge.
Collaboration between the public and private sectors is crucial to the success of DA’s ‘8020 Movement’. The T32 Implant Centre will serve to bridge this gap and increase public awareness on the importance of maintaining good, functional teeth throughout one’s life.
