Six innovations have emerged winners at Healthcare InnoMatch 2022 by the Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI), Ministry of Health (MOH), Temasek Foundation (TF). These innovations are new, near-market-ready solutions that promises to strengthen healthcare transformation in Singapore.
Echoing Singapore’s move towards Healthier SG, the theme for Healthcare InnoMatch challenge “Delivering Care Beyond Hospital Walls,” aims to strengthen our focus to provide greater care in the community and raise awareness of preventive health and early intervention.
This year, the challenge welcomes a total of $2.4 million in funding, with MOH joining TF to boost the innovation fund, enabling twice the number of SMEs and start-ups to be selected compared to last year.
Chosen from over 250 startups and SMEs across 32 countries, the finalists pitched their innovations to a panel of judges on 9th September. For the first time, Singapore’s three public healthcare clusters - National Healthcare Group (NHG), Singapore Health Services (SingHealth), and National University Health System (NUHS) – collaborated to assess the clinical and operational feasibility of these innovations using a common evaluation framework, together with MOH, TF and Integrated Health Information Systems.
