Singapore: TNT Express Malaysia, would be the first logistics company in Malaysia to be accredited with the Goods Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD) from Malaysia's Medical Device Authority. This gives TNT Malaysia the accreditation for its operating processes and infrastructure, and ensures safe handling and service quality for the medical technology products under its care.
Mr S C Chong, managing director, TNT Express Malaysia said that the MedTech center was dedicated to the medical devices market that demanded highly specialized time-critical delivery, return management and consignment stock management.
He added that the center would assure leaner and agile supply chain for medical devices, ensuring operational efficiency and while minimizing defects.
The MedTech Center offered a full-fledged world-class range of specialized solutions and services that combine the cost-effectiveness of a worldwide transportation network offering value-added services.
It also included Integrated Direct Express that facilitates multiple orders to be consolidated into one unit for easy shipment and customs clearance.
