Korea's Incheon-based startup accelerator MediaU held a global innovation road show MUST.CONNECT Singapore 2022 in Singapore on the 12th and 13th, involving Korean-Singapore bio startups, global bio companies, and investors. The event was held at Singapore Science Park.

The event served as an opportunity for Korean bio startups to find Proof of Concept (PoC) partners in technology and expand their networks within the Singapore-based startup ecosystem.

Many domestic and foreign large and medium-sized companies/startups in the bioscience and technology sector, Singapore VCs, and related agencies such as research centers, universities, and hospitals participated in the event.

MUST.CONNECT was sponsored by the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ), Shinhan Financial Group, and Shinhan Financial Hope Foundation, prepared as part of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's "Economic Free Zone Agency Innovation Ecosystem Creation Project."

“The bio-industry is an area that demands global cooperation and we hope MUST.CONNECT will serve as an opportunity to promote exchanges and create synergy within the Singapore-Korea biotech startup ecosystem” said Event organizer and CEO of MediaU Julia Lee.

The event provided programs for global business development, including product and service exhibitions, 1:1 business meetings between IR and strategic partners, and networking, as well as opportunities to share market information for global expansion and to build up and expand local networking with Singapore Bio Association and local startups.

Singapore has declared its 'Smart Nation' project a national objective, implementing startup support policies and providing various government support policies to overseas start-ups.

Participant Korean Start-ups: Promedius, MTEG, Portrai, Phantomics, CellKey, Bio Design Lab, Neurive
