Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation has launched its new computed tomography (CT) system, Aquilion Prime SP, to provide advanced imaging technology for clinicians.
As the system can generate 160 unique slices per rotation with 0.35-second scanning, it minimises the time for diagnosis.
The new system is designed to provide the right balance between image quality and decrease dose for any kind of patient, including paediatrics and bariatrics. The accompanying aperture gantry and couch make the CT system suitable for emergency scanning or studies in bariatric patients.
The company intends to develop technology that helps healthcare providers deliver fast and accurate diagnoses, improve treatment and enhance patient care.
From fast patient throughput to complete cardiac scanning and new clinical capabilities, the new Aquilion Prime SP seems to be an ideal CT solution for any imaging need.
