Inter Academy have begun working in the health and wellbeing sector thanks to the new Inter Academy Health project. The organisation, which is responsible for exporting FC Internazionale Milano’s first-class youth development experience and football expertise, has teamed up with Japanese partner iCure.
iCure specialise in healthcare, physiotherapy and rehabilitation and are an established force in football thanks to their work with a club in the J1 League, the country's top division.
The partnership between Inter Academy Health and iCure will involve the exchange of best practices in terms of health and wellbeing for students and physiotherapists already operating in the industry. The aim of the project is to further develop specialists’ understanding of post-injury recovery and rehabilitation.
iCure already operate via a network of 38 physiotherapy centres and clinics across Japan and their staff will head to Italy to visit the Nerazzurri facilities before hosting their Inter healthcare counterparts for seminars and group work.
This new partnership will further underline Inter’s expansion as a brand both in Italy and abroad.
