Cloud computing enables in streamlining processes and globalizing workforce
Singapore: Japan-based technology giant Fujitsu Taiwan and Taiwan's National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) have signed a MOU to establish a cloud computing platform for agricultural and genomics research.
The MOU was signed by NCKU president, Mr Hwung-Hweng Hwung, and Fujitsu Taiwan president and CEO Mr Ikegami Ichirou on July 21.
NCKU said that its researchers will partner with scientists at Fujitsu to create a big data analysis platform for agriculture and genomics research and explore genomic research issues.
NCKU added that cloud computing would help in sharing research and development information and will help in globalizing workforce and streamlining processes.
