Bangalore: India-based eHealth Access launched the first of its kind 'Healthy Pregnancy Plan' to provide supplemental support to pregnant women. This plan will offer expectant mothers unlimited online and telephonic access and consultations with gynaecologists, psychologists, dieticians, paediatricians and general physicians at any given point in time, during and post pregnancy.

The Hyderabad-based company also launched a free pregnancy helpline number, +91-40-66588039 to get pregnancy queries addressed by a panel of qualified doctors.

Mr S Jayadeep Reddy, MD and CEO, eHealth Access, said, "Pregnant women need expert advice from specialists along-with advice from their primary gynecologists. We are happy to announce that expectant mothers and their well wishers can reach all specialists required for a healthy pregnancy through our customized 'Healthy Pregnancy Plan' at their convenience. We have also launched a Pregnancy Helpline Number which allows pregnant women free initial consultation from our team of doctors. This is an initiative taken to assist them through the pregnancy journey and initial stages of motherhood."

The new customized pregnancy plan addresses concerns of pregnant women, including early pregnancy questions, mood swings, diet, pregnancy complications, labour and birth, and questions after childbirth. The various features of the plan also include, maintain secure online health records to manage the trends and reduce pregnancy issues and concerns, provide anytime help through multiple channels like phone, chat, Q&A and share offline health content on nutrition, pregnancy care, yoga and relaxation techniques.

It also includes, balancing work pressure and pregnancy, diet, and emotional health; SMS feature for weekly and monthly doctor check-ups, tests and other reminders. The plan is valid for twelve months and can be purchased online for around $60 (Rs2999).
