China strengthens vaccine controls
The government also called for objective content in the publicity of vaccinations, banning information that indicated the manufacturer and distributors of the vaccines
Singapore: In a bid to increase the penetration of immunization programs in rural areas, the Chinese government recently issued a circular to improve management of vaccination programs in the country.
The circular, released by the National Health and Family Planning Commission, elaborated that a full record of the supply of vaccines, check results and their temperatures in delivery and storage should be established and kept until two years after the vaccines have expired.
The government also called for objective content in the publicity of vaccinations, banning information that indicated the manufacturer and distributors of the vaccines. It also banned the content comparing the safety of different vaccines as well as disseminating products that are not vaccines, including the therapeutic biological products.
