The blockchain platform-based service will enable patients to share their medical data with medical institutions.

Myongji Hospital in South Korea has recently partnered with a technology company for blockchain-based medical services.

The technology company, BlCube is recognized as a machine-learning platform. Together, the parties will manage a healthcare information exchange system to build a hybrid cloud that combines a public cloud and a private cloud.

The blockchain platform-based service will enable patients to share their medical data with medical institutions, so long as they authorize the distribution. Further, the data will not be stored on a central system so that users need not worry about improper use or access.
