Singapore to host Stem Cell Symposium
Singapore: The Stem Cell Society Singapore (SCSS) is holding its 4th Annual Symposium on September 6-7, 2012, at the Biopolis, Singapore. The theme for Symposium 2012 is "Stem Cell Based Therapy".
The two day event will be packed with outstanding scientific presentations from academic, clinical, and commercial organizations who are translating basic research on stem cells into therapeutics and has focus on applying technologies to provide medical solutions. There will also be a special joint session with the International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT).
Topics presented during the sessions would include clinical trials, hiPSC, drug screening, adult and cancer stem cell and Asian cell therapy. Last year's Symposium saw close to 300 visitors including scientists, clinicians, post-docs and students.
