The system is enabled with true five-color spectral illumination, allowing access to a greater range of fluorescent reagents
Singapore: Thermo Scientific has launched CeLLInsight CX5 High Content Screening (HCS) Platform, a high-content quantitative imaging and analysis platform-powered by Thermo Scientific HCS Studio 2.0 Cell Analysis Software for single cell analysis.
Adding Near-IR (infrared) capability to the CeLLInsight CX5 HCS Platform, the system is enabled with true five-color spectral illumination, allowing access to a greater range of fluorescent reagents. The software is to support cell biologists for complex morphological analyses of cells, cell structure, and aggregations of cells in colonies.
"This new product offering allows users even more flexibility when coupled with the world class microscopy and fluorescent detection tools offered through our Life Technologies brand," said Mr Scott Keefer, manager-product marketing, cell analysis, Thermo Fisher Scientific. "With HCS Studio 2.0 Cell Analysis Software, researchers can seamlessly import images from the EVOS Microscope Platforms as well as access Molecular Probes fluorescent reagents for imaging in multiple colors," he added.
