Trouble free logistic support - DHL expands its Qualified Envirotainer Provider (QEP) Accreditation to 30 stations worldwide

Singapore: DHL Global Forwarding, the air and ocean freight specialist, has expanded its Qualified Envirotainer Provider (QEP) Accreditation to 30 stations in locations at Germany, France, UK, the US, Egypt, Dubai, Japan and China.

By adding the QEP Accreditation to its major stations, DHL's network is further integrated with envirotainer operational requirements, to ensure shipping of temperature-sensitive life sciences and healthcare products.

Envirotainer, cold chain logistics solutions provider, developed the QEP Training and Quality Program to increase the quality levels in cold chain management in the air transportation industry. The program includes the Good Distribution Practice Guidance from organizations such as the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

Mr David Bang, CEO, LifeConEx, DHL Global Forwarding, said that, "The QEP Accreditation supports our cold chain objectives to deliver excellent customer service with product integrity and regulatory compliance in mind. Our expanded certification network covers already over 90 percent of our current Envirotainer volume, and we will continue to enroll additional stations worldwide to the program, starting with Frankfurt, Germany."

Mr Marco Quiros, vice president and head, business development, multi national customers, Life Sciences & Healthcare, US, said that, "This accreditation in our US locations signifies that our customers can rest assured that we have the proper processes in place and our employees have the technical knowledge necessary to manage Envirotainer container shipments. We work vigorously to ensure all temperature-sensitive products we handle are transported safely and securely to their ultimate destination domestically or abroad."
