Nominations Open for the BioSpectrum Asia Excellence Awards 2026

Asia's longest running life sciences honours call for entries across 29 categories, judged by an independent international jury, ahead of the gala in Singapore on 4 December 2026.

BioSpectrum Asia opened nominations for the BioSpectrum Asia Excellence Awards 2026, the 20th anniversary edition of the region's most established life sciences publication. Entries are invited across 29 categories spanning biopharma, biotech, contract services, drug discovery, MedTech, diagnostics, artificial intelligence and digital health, recognising performance in Calendar Year 2025 and the first half of 2026.

Held across Asia since 2009, the awards bring the region's decision makers together for one night in Singapore, and turn that night into a year of recognition. Winners are selected by an independent international jury drawn from biotechnology bodies and universities across Asia Pacific, spanning Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and India. Sponsorship and judging are kept strictly separate, a principle the organisers describe as the heart of the programme.

“Great work deserves to be recognised, and too often it is not, simply because the people behind it were too busy to put it forward. That is what these awards exist to correct. Recognition here is earned, not bought: our jury is independent, and judging and sponsorship are kept strictly apart. In this anniversary year, I would encourage every company doing serious work in Asian life sciences to put its excellence forward.”

Why nominate

The organisers set out six reasons companies enter:

  1. Recognition that is credible. An independent international jury decides, and judging is kept strictly separate from sponsorship, so a shortlist place or a win is a genuine third party endorsement.
  2. Visibility where it counts. Nominees are placed in front of the region's most senior life sciences audience, from founders and investors to policymakers.
  3. A benchmark of excellence. Entering measures a company's Calendar Year 2025 performance against the best in the region.
  4. An asset that lasts. Finalist and winner status works long after the night, in PR, sales, tenders and recruitment.
  5. A way to champion others. Third party nominations are welcome, so a peer, a leader or a research team can be put forward.
  6. A landmark edition. 2026 marks a landmark anniversary for BioSpectrum Asia, making this a milestone year to be part of.

How to enter

Nominations are open now and close in mid-September 2026, with the shortlist announced in October and the gala and ceremony held on 4 December 2026 in Singapore.
