Singapore: Japan's Takeda Pharmaceutical has promoted Mr Christophe Weber, representative director, president and chief operating Officer (COO), as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the company effective April 1, 2015.
Mr Yasuchika Hasegawa, representative director, chairman, will assume the position of representative director and chairman of the board.
Mr Weber was on the apex management of GSK for almost a decade before joining Takeda in April 2014.
