To raise overall patient experience through advanced cybersecurity benchmarks

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi, and CPX, a leading provider of end-to-end cyber security solutions and services, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during Abu Dhabi Global Health Week to advance cybersecurity and digital resilience of Abu Dhabi’s healthcare sector.

The MoU aims to establish a collaborative framework focused on enhancing cyber resilience, improving readiness through sector-wide cyber drills, and facilitating the exchange of cybersecurity knowledge and expertise. The partnership also paves the way for dedicated events and initiatives aimed at upskilling healthcare professionals and entities in cybersecurity preparedness — enabling a more proactive and coordinated approach to cybersecurity across the healthcare landscape.

Technology and artificial intelligence (AI) are transforming patient care, enabling faster diagnostics, smarter systems, and more personalised treatments. However, as healthcare becomes more connected, securing patient information and access become just as critical as the care itself. The collaboration further sets the stage for continued partnership, allowing both parties to align on long-term goals and adapt to the evolving cybersecurity needs of the healthcare sector.
