Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs has commissioned the Industrial Technology Research Institute to implement the "Smart Medical Materials Top-notch Co-creation Project". The initiative will promote the innovation and intelligence of domestic medical equipment, increase the international visibility and export turnover of domestic medical equipment, and drive the intelligent development and leap of the medical equipment industry.

The project plan includes assisting the industry in-

• Medical material regulations guidance
• Technical guidance, such as product development/optimization, big data/AI software /Human factors engineering counseling, clinical testing, etc.
• Field verification of system integration of smart medical products
• Launching products at home and abroad
• Professional consulting services such as market, technology development, evidence collection, and test verification

In the near future, a briefing session on further planning is scheduled to share the market overview of the smart medical materials industry, the trend of international laws and regulations on smart medical materials, and the preparation strategies for the listing of international laws and regulations, as well as explain the content of this year's planning guidance.
