Singapore: BioPharma Asia Convention 2013, which is bringing together more than 4,000 key stakeholders and decision makers from all across the globe, kicked off in Singapore on March 19. The event provides a platform to explore partnership ideas, business trends and investment opportunities in Asia's biopharma sector.
Speaking at the convention, Mr Joaquin Duato, worlwide chairman, pharmaceuticals, Johnson and Johnson, emphasized that there is a need to rebuild the pharma business model to achieve sustainability and greater research and development efficiency. The event has brought together Asian and global biotechnology and pharmaceutical conpanies under one roof.
The program witnessed active exchange of ideas between decision makers, investors and scientist entrepreneurs to collaborate, work together and bring innovation in current drug development situation.
