South Korea-based Seegene Inc. has unveiled a fully automated PCR (MDx) test system AIOS.

It provides high throughput real-time PCR workflow, starting from nucleic acid extraction, then real-time PCR and finally interpretation of results.

AIOS is a fully automated syndromic MDx system designed in a modular concept while compiling Seegene's advanced real-time high-multiplex PCR technologies.

A remarkable feature of AIOS is that its MDx system is composed of independent and detachable modules as well as its proprietary software architecture.

Unlike other mono-body system, AIOS is designed with a liquid extraction / handling system and PCR instrument integrated with an in-house developed robotic arm module.

Hospitals and laboratories can either purchase the complete set of the “AIOS” system or integrate their existing instruments on site if they already have the Seegene Liquid Handler and Real-Time PCR Instrument
