The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care is developing "National Safety and Quality Primary Healthcare (NSQPH) Standards".
The draft NSQPH Standards are now available for review and are open for comment until Friday 27 November 2020.
Developed in collaboration with primary healthcare providers, consumers, peak professional bodies and Primary Health Networks, the draft standards provide a national framework and strategies to improve safety and quality in primary healthcare, with a focus on delivering consumer-centred care.
Collected inputs will help shape the development of the NSQPH Standards before they are finalized and published in 2021.
To review draft standards, and to submit feedback or register to participate in an online consultation forum refer to https://www.safetyandquality.gov.au/standards
