Japan's Fujitsu Laboratories has announced that the company will work toward the realization of an occupational health system that supports the new normal era, which provides total support for self-care of the physical and mental health of employees under telework and remote occupational health that is performed non-face-to-face.
The company starts joint research with the laboratory of Professor Norito Kawakami of the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine (University of Tokyo Kawakami Laboratory).
In this joint research, a pulse survey conducted daily or weekly using our stress check system "FUJITSU Healthcare Solution Organizational Stress Assessment e-Diagnosis @ Mental Health and facial expressions using AI Using the technology of Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd., a data-driven algorithm for determining the physical and mental health of employees is used for cognitive behavior therapy at the Kawakami Laboratory of the University of Tokyo. The company will also develop an algorithm that combines the results of health condition judgment with attribute information such as gender, age, and personality traits to provide optimal advice for each individual.
In addition, Fujitsu will provide feedback to employees on the results derived from these algorithms, design a health portfolio that allows occupational health staff to easily grasp the status of employee self-care based on advice, and implement in-house practices to verify the effectiveness.
Based on this result, Fujitsu will collaborate with corporate health information solutions such as "e-diagnosis" and personal health care information management platform "FUJITSU Healthcare Solution Healthcare Personal service Platform". Fujitsu plans to provide PHR services for occupational health during FY2021.
