Singapore: Dr. Reddy's Laboratories has launched drug for psychiatric conditions, Divalproex Sodium extended release tablets (250 mg and 500 mg).
These are therapeutic equivalent generic versions of Depakote ER (divalproex sodium) tablet, released in the US market on August 19, 2013.
Dr. Reddy's ANDA for Divalproex Sodium extended release tablets was approved by the US FDA. Depakote ER brand and generic had combined US sales of approximately $194 million MAT for the most recent 12 months ending June 2013, according to IMS Health.
