Singapore: TÃœV SÃœD PSB has appointed Mr Richard Hong as CEO for TÃœV SÃœD PSB ASEAN.

Mr Hong has over 18 years of experience in product certification and international compliance management for information technology equipment, home appliances, wireless products and audio-visual (AV) products.

In his most recent role as chief operating officer of TÃœV SÃœD PSB ASEAN, Mr Hong was responsible for driving TÃœV 's businesses and operations in the ASEAN region including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

Mr Richard Hong commented, "It has been an immensely exciting and hugely rewarding experience with TÃœV SÃœD PSB and I've worked with some of the most talented and driven people in the industry. I believe that we can create more milestones and scale greater heights together in the years to come."

Mr Hong was preceded by Mr Chong Weng Hoe. Mr Chong said, "We are fortunate to have someone of Mr Hong's caliber and experience step up to lead TÃœV SÃœD PSB. I am confident that with his commitment, drive, experience and the support from everyone at TÃœV SÃœD, Mr Hong will be able to provide the leadership, vision and direction to lead the ASEAN region to greater growth and expansion."
