Singapore and Japanese universities join hands to nurture immunologists in Asia

Singapore: A*STAR's Immunology Network (SIgN), Singapore, and Immunology Frontier Research Center (IFReC), Osaka University, Japan, jointly organised the second Network of Immunology Frontiers (NIF) Winter School on Advanced Immunology in Singapore from January 20-25, 2013.

This international school on advanced immunology is part of a greater vision to make Asia a global hub of outstanding immunology research. Twenty leading immunologist from around the world delivered lectures at the school.

The event was attended by 54 postdoctoral and PhD students from 17 different countries including the US, UK, China, Australia, Japan and Singapore. A*STAR chairman, Mr Lim Chuan Poh, was the guest-of-honour.
