TechInnovation 2025 once again convened innovators, startups, corporates, and government agencies across Asia to showcase emerging technology solutions and forge strategic partnerships.

TechInnovation® 2025, Singapore’s preeminent platform for innovation and business transformation, returns for its 13th edition from 29–31 October 2025 at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Level 3 Heliconia and Hibiscus Ballroom, Singapore. Organised by IPI Singapore, the three-day event brought together over 40 expert speakers, more than 100 breakthrough technologies and curated programmes designed to accelerate real-world innovation and cross-border collaboration.

Building on last year’s momentum, which brought together more than 100 exhibitors from 8 countries, attracted attendees from 42 markets, and resulted in over 30 projects supported by IPI Singapore after the event, TechInnovation 2025 once again convened innovators, startups, corporates, and government agencies across Asia to showcase emerging technology solutions and forge strategic partnerships. In 2024, notably, 46 percent of visitors were senior management decision-makers, underscoring the event’s position as a high-value marketplace for business and technology leaders.

The event focuses on sectors including smart buildings, urban solutions, engineering, digital health, sustainability, advanced manufacturing and AI, ensuring businesses can find solutions tailored to their growth ambitions while engaging directly with innovation leaders, potential collaborators and funding partners. Anchored on the theme Discover, Connect and Collaborate, TechInnovation 2025 offers exhibitors and visitors a platform to showcase ready-to-market technologies, connect with potential partners across borders, and co-create solutions to address real-world challenges faced by businesses.

Michael Goh CEO of IPI Singapore said, "TechInnovation enables SMEs to make confident moves, access global partners, adopt the right technologies, and take the next step in their growth journey."

Day 1 featured a strong line-up of keynotes, panels, and masterclasses that explored how design, digital health, and frontier technologies are transforming industries, driving collaboration, and creating real-world business impact.

Opening Dialogue: From Island State to Global Stage - Rethinking Innovation, Identity, and Independence Ho KwonPing (Founder and Executive Chairman, Banyan Group) and Dr Juliana M. Chan (CEO, Wildtype Media Group) discussed how Singapore can remain resilient and relevant in a rapidly changing technological landscape. Mr Ho underscored the need to integrate non-Western knowledge into AI to build a more inclusive global system and highlighted the role of empathy and adaptability in both business and leadership. He noted AI’s potential to enhance productivity but cautioned against overreliance, stressing the importance of humility and proactive action amid challenges such as climate change.

Keynote: Health Without the Hassle - Passive Monitoring for the Homes of Tomorrow

The keynote from Dr Seung-min Park (Assistant Professor, Nanyang Technological University), showcased his work in passive digital health, from AI-enabled smart toilets to mirror-embedded sensors, that enable early detection and prevention. The discussion also traced the journey from lab to startup and examined ethical questions around privacy, data ownership, and consent.

Panel: Home Is the New Healthcare Hub - Scaling Preventive and Personalised Digital Care

The panel on digital health brought together Dr Goh Su-Yen (Singapore General Hospital), Dr Philip Wong (Spyder ECG), Dr Yong Chern Chet (22Health Ventures), and Dr Nelson Lau (HealthBridge AI) for a forward-looking discussion on how healthcare is shifting from hospitals to homes. The speakers shared how innovations such as remote monitoring, AI-driven diagnostics, and personalised care platforms are driving prevention and personalisation in healthcare. They also discussed the practical challenges of adoption and the opportunities to scale care models that empower individuals while easing pressure on health systems.

Masterclass: Design for Innovation

Design took centre stage on Day 1, not as a matter of aesthetics but as a driver of innovation and business transformation. In a hands-on masterclass, Low Cheaw Hwei, an innovation advisor at IPI Singapore, drew from his global leadership experience to demonstrate how design thinking can help enterprises navigate complexity, foster cross-functional collaboration, and create customer-centred solutions that make meaningful impact. Participants left with practical takeaways on applying design as a strategic tool to solve real-world challenges and accelerate growth.
