The SGEP – driven by Enterprise Singapore will contribute to the Government’s Enterprise 2030 strategy to grow high-potential companies, by helping local enterprises with global ambitions enhance their human capital capabilities and attractiveness as employers.
One of the key components of the programme includes working with participating companies to curate a structured career progression pathway tailored to their needs, so as to strengthen talent attraction and retention. Promising young local talent can also look forward to overseas attachments, that will help them gain valuable global experience. Starting with the pioneer batch of SGEP companies, Castlery, Commonwealth Capital and Sing Fuels, the programme will be expanded to support up to 20 local high growth companies over the next three years.
"Singapore Government is committed to supporting the growth of our local enterprises and workforce. I encourage our companies and young talent to leverage initiatives like the SGEP, to seize growth opportunities in Singapore and beyond" says Tan See Leng, Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry.
