PICS certification generates new markets for Bilcare in countries like Japan, Korea and Australia

Singapore: Bilcare Global Clilnical Supplies declared that they have received Pharmaceuticals Inspection Cooperation Scheme (PICS) certification for GMP Compliance from National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau, Ministry of Health, Malaysia.

This certification will enable the firm to support clinical trials commencing in 44 participating countries, that fall under the PICS scheme.

The certificate was issued after thorough inspection in accordance with stringent cGMP guidelines. Complete assessment of primary and secondary packaging, labeling, storage and distribution of various formulations and drugs was conducted by the NPCB.

Mr Ajit Dubhashi, CEO Bilcare GCS said that PICS certification confirmed their quality and depicted their commitment towards stringent guidelines. He said that the firm had a proven track record of successfully conducting various global trials conforming to USFDA/MHRA guidelines.

The recent certification opened up new revenue pools for the company with growing markets like Japan, Australia and Korea. It would also facilitate Pharmacos, Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), Government Bodies, Institutions and Labs with clinical trial services.

The firm also has ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for consistently providing clinical trial materials and services that exceed customer expectations.
