The agreement gives GSK a 25 percent equity share in Aspen, Japan

Singapore: Aspen Global Incorporated (AGI), a subsidiary of Aspen Holdings Incorporated, announced its strategic partnership with multinational pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in Japan. This gives GSK a 25 percent equity share in Aspen, Japan.

The collaboration will enable Aspen to harness more opportunities and expand its healthcare business across Asia.

Under the terms of the deal, Aspen will receive exclusive rights for marketing and distribution from GSK for certain generic drugs in its product portfolio. GSK will also provide the firm with a pipeline of authorized generics for a number of its medicines.
