Singapore: Japan is hosting its first personalised medicine and diagnostics expo in May 14-16, 2014.

The Japanese government is targeting medical care as the core of Japan's growth strategy and personalised medicine is chosen as one of the priority areas.

Japanese NIH is planning to launch a budget of approximately $2.26 billion in personalised medicine and regenerative medicine. A series of new projects, easing of regulations and a large volume of subsidies involved, is encouraging overseas suppliers to set their target in Japan.
