Telangana, China Medical City ink a MoU
The MoU was inked at the BioAsia 2015 event held at Telangana, India
Singapore: Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) and China Medical City (CMC) on Tuesday inked a memorandum of understanding to collaborate in the area of life sciences, bio-technology and medical devices.
The agreement was signed at 'BioAsia 2015', a three- day conclave on biotechnology, pharma and related fields held at Telangana, India. China Medical City, located in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, is a national-level high-tech development zone focusing on biomedical research & development, manufacturing and commercialization.
The MoU covers facilitation of companies and institutes desirous of partnering, collaborative projects and extending assistance in finding prospective partners. The TSIIC and CMC will also share information about profiles and technologies of companies and research institutes in their respective regions.
The CMC is focused on building the largest life science industry cluster in China, read the press release. It has been established by the Ministry of Science and Technology, National Health and Family Planning Commission, China Food and Drug Administration, State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the government of Jiangsu Province.
BioAsia 2015, the 12th annual convention of the lifesciences industry, was held in Telengana province of India. The three day event kicked off on 02 Feb, 2015 and saw huge participation form industry, academia and inventors and policy makers.
