11th Indo-Australian biotech conference to be held soon
Singapore: The registrations are open for the Indo-Australian international conference which will host reputed scientists from India and Australia. This is in the background of growing research linkages between Australia and India, thereby creating new opportunities for collaboration and exchange.
Those links will be enhanced by the 11th Biennial Indo-Australian Biotechnology Conference, to be held on the 7-8 of September at the Westmead Millennium Institute's new state-of-theart medical research facility in Sydney. Leading scientists from India and Australia will speak about their research into the immunology of infection, cancer and auto-immune diseases and new approaches to the development of vaccine.
Among the keynote speakers are Prof Ian Fraser AC, Translational Research Institute, Brisbane who would be speaking on immunology of human papillomavirus and cervical cancer. Prof. V Nagaraja, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore - Immunology of tuberculosis.
