MTPConnect, Australia’s Life Sciences Innovation Accelerator, and Wholesale Investor, a leading private capital marketplace, have announced a landmark strategic partnership to provide a comprehensive capital engagement programme for life science companies.
The collaboration is designed to bridge a critical funding gap by connecting the nation’s life sciences innovators directly with Wholesale Investor’s extensive network of over 45,000 high-net-worth, family office, and professional investors.
The partnership addresses a well-defined challenge in the Australian market: while the nation produces world-class research and innovation, early-stage and scaling companies often struggle to access the private capital required to navigate crucial phases of development, clinical trials, and commercialisation.
This initiative will leverage MTPConnect’s deep sector expertise and ecosystem network with Wholesale Investor’s proven capital-raising platform and investor network.
The cornerstone of the partnership will be the Life Sciences Investor Day, a premier showcase event that will be held as the dedicated Day 1 of Wholesale Investor’s annual Emergence 2026 Conference in Sydney in February.
MTPConnect CEO, Stuart Dignam, says the programme is all about doing more to back life sciences startups and SMEs through the difficult early years of innovation.
