Thailand will gather leading pharmaceutical and packaging producers during the upcoming CPHI South East Asia 2023 event to unlock Thailand's pharmaceutical capability and stabilize the country's pharmaceutical industry.

On 12-14 July 2023, Informa Markets will hold a regional exhibition on pharmaceutical technologies, solutions, and packaging in the Queen Sirikit Convention Center, Halls 1-3, G Floor. Under the theme “At the Heart of Pharma,” the forum will host around 390 pharmaceutical companies, and is an ideal platform to discover latest pharmaceutical products, technologies, and innovations, packaging as well as to exchange current knowledge and build strong networks.

CPHI South East Asia 2023, the largest pharmaceutical event in South East Asia, will cover the entire supply chain of the pharmaceutical industry, leading to greater business opportunities, according to Ranpetch Chitanuwat, Regional Portfolio Director - ASEAN, Informa Markets Thailand. Furthermore, the event aims to enhance Thailand's position as a global medical hub by stabilizing its pharmaceutical industry.

Thanks to such strong cooperation from all parties, this event will become a significant gateway that drives Thai pharmaceutical manufacturing to be on par with global standards,” said Ms. Rungpetch.

The event will cover an area of over 15,000 square meters and is expected to welcome over 8,000 visitors to the region’s largest pharmaceutical technologies, innovations, and packaging exhibition. 

In addition to talk sessions and discussions by industry leaders, the three-day event will include updates on industry trends, rules, regulations related to pharmaceutical product registration, technologies, research on Thai herbs, and how to commercialize the research findings and increase economic value.

Among the various topics for the seminars one of the highlights will be “A Growth Opportunity for the Herbal Medicines Industry in Thailand, Vietnam, and India, ASEAN Animal Health Outlook, and International Pharmaceutical Packaging”.

Aside from knowledge sharing on the Innovation Stage, there will be showcases of packaging innovations, new environmentally friendly products, and Pharma Quest, a contest in which college students can demonstrate their knowledge of pharmaceuticals and related skills.
