Indian startup Leucine Rich Bio, South Asia’s first microbiome company and national startup award winner 2021 (Health and Wellness sector), has started exporting its unique gut microbiome test, BugSpeaks to Thailand.

BugSpeaks has been approved by Thai FDA for import. BugSpeaks is South Asia’s first gut microbiome test that incorporates unique features like Rych index – a score that reflects intestinal health with respect to the gut microbiota profile, personalized nutrition recommendation based on the individual’s gut microbiota and other actionable information such as vitamin synthesis potential, propensity to diseases etc.

Dr Debojyoti Dhar, Co-founder and Director says “It is a huge step for us that our unique gut microbiome test is now available in Thailand. This to my knowledge is the first gut microbiome test developed in India that is being exported to another country. I am sure this will help the people of Thailand avail important health insights and lead a healthy life. We are talking to a few partners in other countries as well who have shown interest in BugSpeaks and hopefully it will be available in those countries too pretty soon”.
