Global Field Application Scientist,

Jake majored in cancer biology at the Ulsan National Institute of Science & Technology in Korea and received a master’s degree in science and technology. After that, he worked for Cytiva (Previous GE Healthcare Life Sciences) for 10 years as an application specialist in South Korea.

He was responsible for overall training, seminars, URS consulting, and marketing on Chrom. Skid, column, and resin used in cGMP. In addition, he was a column packing specialist for all sizes of columns used in cGMP. From 2022, he worked as a Mechanistic Modelling Champion for Cytiva Korea.

In addition to protein purification, he worked as an application specialist for Biacore (SPR) and the cGMP Filter system.

Mats Ramberg

Global Director of Product Management,
Ecolab

In his role as Global Director of Product Management, Mats oversees the development of product and go-to-market strategies for Ecolab’s Purolite™ Affinity Resins. Recently, he spearheaded the launch of Ecolab’s Praesto™ AP+80, an affinity resin designed to facilitate biosimilar development while ensuring cost efficiency and a seamless transition from the originator process.

Mats holds an MSc in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University in Sweden.
