The China Food and Drug Administration's Institute of Executive Development (CFDAIED) has signed an exclusive memorandum of understanding (MOU) with UL to develop and deploy UL's PURE Learning's regulatory content and training solutions. Following work to support the CFDAIED inspector training program, UL and CFDAIED will jointly create and brand China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) regulatory courses for use by Life Science companies in China as well as those global Life Science companies looking to meet regulatory requirements for products imported into China.

"We are honored and excited to partner with the CFDAIED," said Scott Barnard, managing director for PURE Learning, part of UL's PURE platform. "CFDAIED and UL share a common goal and mission of promoting and ensuring food and drug safety. This partnership will help accelerate the development of a specialized and highly-effective investigator force and continue to support efforts to evolve the CFDA both now and in the future."

This agreement will ensure long-term exclusive cooperation for at least the next five years. The cooperation with CFDAIED will help promote UL's brand awareness in China, raise UL's profile among manufacturers in the Life Science industry, and help Chinese authorities improve and scale their inspector training programs.
