S Korean hospital opened in UAE
About 170 South Korean doctors and nurses are working in the hospital
Singapore: South Korean Health Ministry has recently announced that the country's leading specialty provider, managed by the Seoul National University Hospital (SNU), has opened a new hospital in the United Arab Emirates.
SNU has been selected as the consignment manager of the largest specialist hospital in the Middle East for five years. The Ministry said in a statement, "This marked the first time a South Korean hospital has won a consignment contract for a foreign hospital, and about 170 South Korean doctors and nurses are working in the hospital."
The Ministry said that the new hospital will help in further expanding the presence of South Korean medical services in the world. The 248-bed hospital specializes in the treatment of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, neurological disorders as well as other diseases, the ministry said.
