| Description | Our client manufactures and services leading scientific solutions to laboratories throughout the world. They operate in over 120 countries and employ over 9000 employees. Seventy-five percent of their products are in the number one or number two positions in their market.
They are seeking a Liquid Handling Product Specialist to join their Australian team. Your primary role will be assist the frontline sales team to market Liquid Handling instrumentation to new and existing customers through the provision of technical sales advice and qualification, application support, customer support and a range of strategic promotional activities.
You will work to develop and grow technical networks within the industry to source potential leads and identify market opportunities. Strengthen pre- sales activities by contributing specialised advice on Robotics and Liquid Handling instrumentation and provide technical qualification on product capability. You will seek opportunities to promote their expertise in the field of Liquid Handling through the delivery of educational forums, technical seminars and representation at industry sponsored events. Communication is a key attribute required as you will keep-up-to date with the activities of frontline sales staff in relation to Liquid Handling instrumentation and when appropriate supply specific information on product components to ensure accurate quotations are delivered to the customer.
Collaboration with the Service team at installation to offer technical expertise on calibration and other specialised guidance and the provision of post-sales support by conducting product specific training at customer sites will be required. You will initiate promotional activities, including advertising and pricing strategies to expand market penetration and seek to positively influence the purchasing decision by developing strong relationships with key customers based on mutual respect and confidence in the products and Service our client provides.

| Qualification | Your professional communication skills will be backed up with extensive laboratory experience and an Honours degree or PhD in Cell Biology or related discipline. |
| Experience | You will be familiar with a variety of techniques that may include protein expression, molecular biology, cell biology and various screening techniques. Robotic/Liquid Handling rouble shooting experience is essential and exposure to managing a large amount of samples in a high throughput environment will be highly regarded.
